Annie Dyke, MS, BCBA, Executive Director of Assessments, plays a pivotal role in guiding families through this process, laying the foundation for success. Therapy is then tailored to address specific goals, such as reducing challenging behaviors, improving communication, and building essential daily living skills.One young client, for example, initially struggled to communicate basic needs, often becoming frustrated and overwhelmed. With a personalized therapy plan that introduced the use of a PECS board, the child gradually learned to express requests and preferences through visuals. Over time, they gained confidence and began combining visuals with vocalizations, reducing frustration and building stronger connections with family and peers.The dedication of Achievements' team is the driving force behind these life-changing outcomes.
