The case study of an organization producing advanced wound therapy products and services demonstrates the effectiveness that GlobalLogic brings to the table. The client was a market leader in vacuum-assisted wound therapy delivered as a service. Changes in the business and reimbursement models were disrupting long-standing systems of patient care.

The device needed to be worn for hours a day for both compliance and efficacy. To reinforce compliance, which was vital for a successful outcome, the client intended to build a digital experience for patients in the form of a companion mobile application. The idea was to create a digital assistant that would be with the patients 7x24 to help them use the vacuum device, answer questions, order supplies, show healing progress, and generally motivate them to stay compliant with the therapy protocol. GlobalLogic guided them in achieving this beginning with direct engagement with patients, to designing and developing the user interface, solution set, and workflows, to launching and supporting the new digital experience. The collaboration with GlobalLogic was an unqualified success as it exceeded the goals and expectations set for the program.
