Imagine having your medicine cabinet virtually in the palm of your hand—smarter, more organized and working 24/7 to safeguard your health. That’s the magic of MyCabinet, the app that’s changing medication management for modern-age families.

Its patented user interface mirrors the familiar look and feel of the trusty medicine cabinet at home. The sleek, virtual shelves provide an instant sense of comfort and organization, all from the convenience of a smartphone.

As simple as using any other app, getting started with MyCabinet is a breeze. Inputting prescriptions, vitamins, and health devices for each family member creates a centralized hub that keeps everyone on track. Just by searching for the medication and adding dosage details, the virtual medicine cabinet starts to take shape, making managing one’s health an engaging and streamlined experience.

Each cabinet has its own hub broken down into five parts - cabinet contents (medications, RPM, and OTC), allergies, conditions, health documents and medication adherence— serving as a comprehensive platform for managing and sharing health-related information. The hub comes with a reminder system, signified by a clock icon on medications, which sends reminders for medication intake directly to the user’s phone and email. This notification system helps users keep track of refills to save them from any last-minute pharmacy runs.

Not just that, when one wants to share health information with a family member or a caregiver, they can do so by adding other users’ email addresses so they can access the medicine cabinet and receive alerts.

For medications no longer required, the app provides an archiving feature. This includes the option to mark medications with an alert icon if they have caused allergic or adverse reactions, maintaining a safe record for future reference.

Through strategic partnerships with Amazon Pharmacy and Mark Cuban’s Cost-Plus Drug Company, MyCabinet ensures that users not only manage their health effectively but also benefit from cost-efficient solutions.

For school nurses the app acts as a partner that simplifies daily medication management tasks, ensuring students receive proper care. Hospitals leverage MyCabinet to extend their caregiving reach, creating a continuum of care that follows patients’ home, ensuring medication routines are maintained in familiar surroundings. For businesses, it provides a dual benefit, serving as a reliable platform for employees managing their dependents’ health, which in turn, nurtures a more productive workplace environment.

Unlike others who simply provide an app along with an API for integration, we prioritize customization to fit the specific needs of clients, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into their existing systems

“Our mission is to help people in their day-to-day life, understanding their challenges and being there with solutions that feel like they’re crafted just for them. Unlike others who simply provide an app along with an API for integration, we prioritize customization to fit the specific needs of clients, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into their existing systems,” says Delia Passi, founder and CEO.

The inspiration behind MyCabinet was born out of a personal healthcare emergency that highlighted a critical void in medication management. When faced with the mother’s heart attack, Passi encountered the frightening realization of not being able to recall her medications—a dire situation considering her diabetes and allergies. Fueled by this incident and discontent with the inadequate and complex medication management applications available, Passi, in collaboration with an executive from Procter and Gamble, applied their marketing acumen to forge MyCabinet. Their goal was to build medicine cabinets for the modern family. The result was an app that stands alone in the market, distinguished by its engaging interface and all-encompassing family management capabilities. This innovation earned it the runner-up position in the Dell for Startups Pitch Competition hosted by Endeavor Miami for the significant impact it has on improving health outcomes in users’ lives.
