Sleep treatment improves sleep and aids insomnia and other mental and physical health issues.

FREMONT, CA: While CPAP is the standard gold treatment for sleep apnea, it isn't effective for everyone. The Food and Drug Administration approves Upper Airway Stimulation (UAS) as a treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) in patients who have not responded to CPAP therapy. Sleep therapy operates from the inside out using the patient's breathing pattern. While under its care, Sleep therapy tracks their breathing every moment. Based on individual breathing patterns, the device adjusts its stimulation of the hypoglossal nerve, which regulates the tongue and other important airway muscles. Sleeping with an open airway is made possible by activating these muscles.

Patients have full control: The sleep therapy is managed using a portable and compact remote control. With the help of the remote, they can start the Inspire therapy before bed and turn it off when they wake up in the morning, adjust how strongly the stimulation is delivered, and halt the treatment whenever necessary during the night.
