EFAP, Internet-based Cognitive Therapy (iCBT), Mental Health Coach, and Nurse Navigation Services supplied by Kii has been added to the CloudMD Software & Services vendor portfolio.
FREMONT, CA: “Hospitals across North America are dealing with significant levels of employee burnout and need additional mental and EFAP support,” says Karen Adams, CEO of CloudMD. CloudMD Software & Services is pleased to sign a new vendor of record agreement for the Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP), Internet-based Cognitive Therapy (iCBT), Mental Health Coach, and Nurse Navigation Services supplied by Kii. The non-exclusive deal is with Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC), a non-profit shared services company that provides supply chain, clinical, and back office services to hundreds of Canadian hospitals. CloudMD has inked a multi-year contract with its first hospital client in conjunction with the vendor of record arrangement.
“Through this new Mohawk Medbuy contract, a significant number of Canadian hospitals now have access to the benefits of CloudMD,” adds Adams.
CloudMD is an innovative North American healthcare service provider with an emphasis on promoting better lifestyles through the integration of cutting-edge technology and an extraordinary nationwide network of healthcare specialists. Kii, the market-leading workplace health and wellbeing solution from CloudMD, provides members and their families with a tailored and linked healthcare experience for emotional, physical, and occupational health. Kii provides payers such as companies, educational institutions, associations, the government, and insurance with superior clinical health outcomes, consistent high engagement, and quantifiable ROI. Using data-driven prevention, intervention, and return-to-work programs, CloudMD is also an industry leader in workplace absence management.
Additionally, the Business distributes health and productivity solutions to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare service providers to empower them to provide better care.
The deal was reached on behalf of MMC's Member hospitals using the organization's proven procurement process, utterly compliant with Broader Public Sector regulations, CFTA and CETA to ensure fairness, openness, and transparency.
"Healthcare workers have tough jobs at the best of times, even more so in recent years. The physical and emotional toll continues to challenge them and their families, layered on with increasing staff shortages and waitlists. CloudMDs nurse navigation integrated with our suite of mental health and EFAP services creates an easy-to-use platform that delivers meaningful results for our partners and their employees," says Colin Andersen, Executive VP of the Public Sector of CloudMD.
The contract also includes an option for further CloudMD services, including medical second opinion, absence management, short-term disability management, workers' compensation claims management, and employment exams and evaluations.
