Eating health-promoting meals is one approach to manage overall anxiety. Eating nutritious and healthful meals is an essential part of self-care that can help to reduce anxiety. Furthermore, because anxiety is often associated with losing control over one's life, reminding oneself that they have control over what they eat might help alleviate anxiety.


While it's difficult to say how much the food influences anxiety since there are so many other factors at play, there is a link between the gut microbiota, systemic inflammation, and mood.


Let's see a few of the foods and herbs that could help cut that anxiety:


• Walnuts


According to research, medical students who provide omega-3 fatty acid supplements, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), had a 20percentage reduction in anxiety symptoms. Although fish oil supplements were utilised in this study, omega-3-rich foods such as walnuts can also be consumed. This is because they include alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid that can get converted to EPA and DHA.
