Cataract surgery improves vision, enhances quality of life, increases eye vision, makes life safer, and may improve mild Alzheimer’s symptoms.

Fremont, CA: Cataract causes clouding of the eye lens. Poor night vision, reflections, halos, and blurred vision are all signs of cataracts. Cataracts may interfere with everyday activities and a sense of autonomy. However, these issues may be essentially resolved with surgical cataract therapy.

Benefits of Cataract Surgery

Improved Vision

In cataract surgery, an obscured natural lens is substituted with a clear synthetic lens. Over 95% of patients who underwent this procedure report having better vision afterward. After surgery, vision may improve as shortly as the next day.

Quality of Life

Cataracts develop blurred vision, making it difficult to work and maintain independence. This impacts the mental and emotional health of an individual. However, having cataracts treated helps regain vision. A successful surgery might increase resilience and optimism.
