If visiting the clinic, you may see kids with their physical therapist on the toddler sized treadmill, Galileo vibration plate or using a gait trainer to get to the stairs or swings. Thrive Pediatrics recognizes that speech is a crucial part of communication. Its speech therapists work together with parents and their children to develop communication strategies that lead to healthy interactions and a sense of autonomy. The children are prepared to make connections in meaningful ways through occupational therapy, where therapists facilitate healthy feeding, sensory integration, fine motor skills, and dressing.

The overwhelmingly positive reception from families regarding Thrive Pediatrics’ telehealth services is noteworthy. Children living in remote locations can now access regular weekly services. It provides learning packets with activity recommendations for families that can’t come to in-person services or have technical difficulties with telehealth. These relatively new methods of service help families in outlying areas access the services they need.
