HRC Fertility is a leading provider of advanced IVF and fertility care, with locations throughout Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley. HRC Fertility is committed to helping patients from all walks of life grow their families or preserve their future family planning options.
To recognize National Infertility Awareness Week, HRC Fertility shared new data highlighting the importance of fertility education and inclusive care.
HRC Fertility partnered with Propeller Insights to commission a nationwide survey in March 2025. Propeller Insights is a market research firm based in Los Angeles. They use quantitative and qualitative methodologies to measure and analyze marketplace and consumer opinions. The survey polled more than 1,000 U.S. adults from 18 to 44 years old to gain a better understanding of their fertility knowledge, treatment preferences, and expectations of care. These results reflect a community with a strong desire to learn, yet they face gaps in accurate information, accessible resources, and culturally appropriate care.
78% of the survey respondents said they would be interested in a complimentary second IVF cycle if the first was unsuccessful. This underscores the emotional and financial challenges families may face during fertility treatment, as well as the need for inclusive packages. Programs like HRC Fertility’s Promise Package and the Dream Package ease the emotional burden of uncertainty while reinforcing HRC Fertility’s commitment to providing meaningful support.
“With our various all-inclusive packages, and sites accessible from San Diego and Orange County, to Pasadena, Encino, Beverly Hills, and the Bay Area, our goal at HRC Fertility is to educate and provide options for all walks of life when considering family building options for the future or to start their families now,” shares Kerry Ayazi, administrative President at HRC Fertility. “These latest survey results illuminate the need for more fertility education and access and we are glad to support both.”
The survey also found that 63% of adults have not heard of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) testing. AMH testing is a standard blood test that helps assess ovarian reserve and fertility potential. Yet 70% of the respondents said they would attend a free informational session about AMH. This interest shows a gap in fertility education and presents a valuable opportunity for community outreach. To address this, complimentary AMH testing is being incorporated into educational events that HRC Fertility is offering, reaffirming its commitment to expanding access to fertility education.
Furthermore, more than half of survey respondents reported not knowing what their fertility benefits are and whether their insurance plan covers reproductive services at all. The lack of knowledge regarding insurance and benefits can prevent patients from accessing care when they need it. HRC Fertility works directly with patients to navigate these questions as they provide support from the beginning to the end.
“I could not agree more on our commitment to access within reach and a transformation of family planning,” said Dr. John Wilcox, MD, Chair of HRC Fertility. “We are ready to support patients coming to us both under existing plans as well as the new California mandated coverage plans to come; we also aim to bring this vision to Nevada soon too, with our new Las Vegas site slated to open this year, led by our own Dr. Bradford Kolb, MD.”
